Bistra Vlassakova, MD, LCS Certified Coach

Originally from Bulgaria, where I spent my formative years and completed Medical School, I embarked on a journey to further my medical career in the USA. My dedication and passion for medicine led me to complete my anesthesia training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by a subspecialty in Pediatric Anesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH). Over the past 17 years, I have been a faculty member at BCH where my clinical interests have centered on medical simulation and providing specialized anesthesia care for children with autism and behavioral challenges.

In October 2021, I completed my coach certification through the Life Coach School (LCS), a transformative journey in personal development. Furthering this pursuit, in March 2022 I achieved Level 1 Coach Certification through the Coach Life Coaching Institute (CLCI), an ICF accredited program. This decision to delve into the world of life coaching was not just a professional milestone; it was a pivotal moment that reshaped my life. Coaching opened new horizons for me, saving my professional career from the brink of burnout and igniting new dreams. It allowed me to explore and grow in realms I never imagined, adding a rich, new dimension to my life and career.

I bring to the table not only a wealth of clinical expertise but also a deep, personal understanding of transformation and growth, both professionally and personally. My journey in coaching has equipped me with unique insights and skills that I am eager to share, helping others to dream big, grow, and find fulfillment in their own lives.
