Emma Ross, MD, JD

Emma Ross, M.D., J.D., began her career as a surgery resident before leaving the medical profession entirely and finding her way to a legal practice that combines complex science, teaching, and trial advocacy. Her experience inside demanding professional environments informs her work with physicians navigating ambition, burnout, and the challenge of building a sustainable life alongside a meaningful career. She lectures regularly on the science of well-being and burnout.

Emma is certified in the Socratic Coaching Method by the Socratic Coaching Academy. She coaches ambitious, accomplished women on how to pursue their goals without burning down their lives to do it. Sometimes that means making a significant professional change. Sometimes it means leaving the hospital at 5:00 p.m. and learning to leave the work behind when they do.
